I was born in Kolkata Behala. My schooling was from Behala Girls School from where i passed Class X and then Yogomaya Devi College from where I passed Class XII.In the Year 1992 I graguated from Government College of Art & Craft Kolkata and got First Class. In the Year 1992 I got married and shifted to Bokaro Thermal, Jharkhand, a place is rich in natural beauty. For the last 11 years i worked as an Art Teacher in Carmel Convent School, Bokaro Thermal. I have a studio in my home and regularly I am busy now with my paintings.

Achievement:
The early footstep of my paintings started at the age of four years. At that time my canvas was the wall of my home and brush and colour were simple chalk. My intimate passion became alive when i got admission in Government Art College Kolkata in the Year 1987.
