Works of Sohini
Overview:
Born and raised in Kolkata, Sohini Mukherjeestarted painting since she was a kid. As she grew
up her studies and her career as an IT
professional took her to different parts of the
country and world where she visited the many art
galleries which fuelled her passion for painting.
She continued painting in spite of hectic
schedules and a demanding career. Mostly self-
taught , Sohini was deeply influenced by the
mythology of various countries and the paintings of
the Renaissance masters . In 2015 , she finally
gave up her career as an IT professional and
decided to take up her passion as her full time
career. Her favourite mediums include Acrylics , oil
pastels and watercolour.
